Volunteer with us
FarmUnity is 100% volunteer-powered, and we’re always excited to welcome more hands to help grow our community farms in Crofton, Crownsville, and Millersville, Maryland. In 2023 alone, over 200 amazing volunteers rolled up their sleeves and dug into the dirt with us!
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and together we’re building more than just crops—we’re building connections. Farming with friends while giving back to the community? That’s what we’re all about.
For Libraries and Schools
All seedlings for our farms (over 3,000) are donated by students at local schools, including:
Places We Donate
- Crofton Library: Home to one of our farms, where we grow and give back to the local community.
- Sarah’s House: A shelter providing support for homeless families, serving over 125 people daily, many of whom are children.
- Backpack Buddies: Ensuring that over 1,000 students in Anne Arundel County receive nourishing meals every weekend and holiday.
